In a unexpected crossover event that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden cult.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
